What this site is

3D Print Portal is a directory that helps you find an independent 3D print operator in your area. We are not a print shop. We do not make, ship, or guarantee any product.

How orders work

• You upload an STL, accept a quote, and a manufacturer near you decides whether to take the job.
• If they accept, they contact you directly to arrange payment and pickup or shipping.
• Payment never goes through this site. You pay the manufacturer directly using whatever method you both agree on (e-transfer, cash on pickup, etc.).

Order locally, start small

This is a peer-to-peer network of hobbyists and small operators. Do your own due diligence. For your first order from any manufacturer, we recommend:

• Order something inexpensive to gauge their quality before placing a large order.
• Order from a manufacturer in your own city when possible so you can pick up in person.
• Read their listing carefully — printer specs, materials offered, what they will or won't take on.
• Ask questions by email before paying. A good manufacturer will respond quickly.

No warranty

Quality, accuracy, and delivery are between you and the manufacturer. We don't guarantee a print will look right, fit your application, arrive on time, or work at all. If something goes wrong, you must work it out with the manufacturer directly. Disputes are not our responsibility.

Your STL files

By uploading an STL you confirm you have the right to print it. Don't upload files you didn't create or aren't licensed to print — that's between you and the rights-holder, not us. If a copyright holder contacts us about a specific file, we will remove it and may share order details with the rights-holder.

Manufacturers

If you list yourself as a manufacturer, you agree to:

• Respond to job requests within 48 hours (accept, decline, or ask a question).
• Communicate directly and professionally with customers via email.
• Refund or remake jobs if the print fails through your fault.
• Stop accepting new orders if you can't fulfill them — deactivate your listing instead of ghosting.

Removal

We may remove any listing or order at our discretion, especially for spam, abuse, or complaints. Manufacturers can remove their own listing any time via the manage link sent at signup.
